The Living Dead

Already said what’s to be said

Already done what’s to be done

Now the beginning has begun

I stare into the rising sun

Mother crumbles

Father stumbles

To the living dead

So much left unsaid

Because words wasted

Are the worst I’ve tasted

Your ears don’t hear when you listen

Your fears won’t clear without permission
