Cold Outside – Burning Inside

I didn’t do today. I witnessed instead.

Laid with myself, lost in thought, knowing I’d be found again. I’d come around again.

The madness, the sadness, the anger and pain.

The toil, the trouble, the perpetual rain.

The joys, the triumphs, the eternal flame.

Burning for warmth

Burning the frame

Burning to melt

Desires and fires felt

Time to be born again, enter the world within

Scars and stripes

Stars and hypes

Welcome home

Let’s roam

It’s dark and warm and fire lights the night

Every seed gets buried, resting out of sight

Love makes it grow

Peace meets its glow

Cold, frozen outside

Fire burns within

Bold, open inside

Desire yearns again
